What was your most unusual purchase during the pandemic?

A KitchenAid Mixer. That’s not unusual to most people, but to a person who does not bake AT ALL—it’s a big deal!

What’s your favorite tv series, movie, or book you saw/read this past year?

I watched all 6 seasons of Blacklist on Netflix in probably 2-weeks time. And I loved watching my Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA Championship!

What’s a new skill or hobby you’ve developed during the pandemic?

Baking! I’m actually not bad at it—not great, but not bad!

Fun fact?

I have 3 boys, twins Cooper & Carter (age 11) and Cullen (age 3).

I binged-watched the entire Breaking Bad series.

Not unusual, but the skill I enhanced during the pandemic was cooking at home.

What’s your favorite tv series, movie, or book you saw/read this past year?

This Is Us puts you through every emotion out there.

What’s a new skill or hobby you’ve developed during the pandemic?

Home haircuts…did not master it by any means.

Fun fact?

I‘m just an empty nester who is excited to have my husband to myself and not have to share him anymore. While the pandemic has been difficult, it has taught us to slow down and enjoy time together. Family first…thankful for the reminder.

My house. Not really unusual, but hard to do when I was laid off and still got it done.

What was your most unusual purchase during the pandemic?

A new roof for the house. The most sought-after purchase during the early days of the pandemic was toilet paper. We had to ration our supply until the online purchases finally arrived.

What’s your favorite tv series, movie, or book you saw/read this past year?

My favorite TV series I watched was Ozark. I have also had two recent reads – The Last Gunfight, a very good account of the famous shootout at the OK Corral in Tombstone. And the other I am enjoying now is The Signal and the Noise, an excellent read about forecasts and why they often miss the mark.

What’s a new skill or hobby you’ve developed during the pandemic?

A skill that I have had to re-acquaint myself with is the energy required to watch a toddler. Our first grandchild is now 15 months old and full of curiosity and energy.
